Lunatic fringe: O'Donnell rants; says radical Christianity worse than radical Islam
BY GREGOR

There are some people just so stupid that it's actually entertaining to watch. And the best shows are the nutjobs that no matter how absurd they are ... Their obnoxious arrogance doesn't allow them to realize when everyone around them is laughing at them; in a bad way. Now I know most of you are probably thinking olbermann, or maybe Cruise and yes ... those are great examples, but they are not even in the same league as Rosie O'Donnell.

There is no greater master of ignorance than Rosie. I'm not sure she has ever once opened her mouth and said something worthy of being considered educated, yet she is one of those self proclaimed "progressives" who all fancy themselves of superior intellect.

Via the Media Research Center:

Rosie O'Donnell, the new host of The View, restrained herself for exactly one week before letting fly with her extreme liberalism. On the September 12 edition on Tuesday, in response to fellow co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck's comment that militant Islam is a grave threat, O'Donnell countered that "radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America." The comedienne also ridiculed America's response to 9/11: "We were attacked not by a nation. And as a result of the attack and the killing of nearly 3,000 innocent people we invaded two countries and killed innocent people in their countries."

I'm confused. Is Rosie O'Donnell somehow able to determine from her Hollywood studio which victims are innocent and which are guilty? Is she being given daily military briefings that the rest of us aren't, or does she simply assume that everyone is innocent because they are not wearing a uniform?

The professor of truth and knowledge continued to educated the audience, relating her thoughts on President Bush's speech on 9/11:

"He had one sentence that I thought struck me. I thought, what did everyone think? 'The safety of America depends on the outcome of the battle in the streets of Baghdad.' And I would say the outcome, really, of America really depends on the battle in the streets of New Orleans, that that city is still decimated and $303 billion have been spent fighting this war. If, literally, a third of that money was put into Katrina and facilitated with honest people who knew how to do it, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in."

O'Donnell may be unaware of this, but $110 billion has been designated for the Gulf Coast clean-up. My math could be wrong, but I believe that's at least a third. Co-host Joy Behar, a fellow liberal, chimed in with this question: "Don't you think it's clear at this point that they don't care about New Orleans? If they cared about it, they would have fixed it already."

The fact that she believes New Orleans should be completely "fixed" in a year is besides the point. 'The View,' a program that is supposed to represent the perspectives of women, is now almost completely in the control of Move-On-type liberals.

All I can do is bow down and thank God for Liberals like Rosie O'Donnell, Howard Dean, and Ned Lamont. They do more to strengthen the odds for conservatives in November than any amount of money will ever do. I sometimes think it might be a great idea to take all the money the Republican party has raised ... and allow Liberals to use it to get their message out. Let's hope they continue to open their mouths.

Now, if we can only get John McCain to shut up.
