They were ready, just in case some of us right-wing, radical, terrorists had acted up.














This was the only real excitement today. As I was leaving the Tea Party, this loser almost knocked me down running by me from behind, followed closely by another dude chasing him. Apparently, he had just robbed a jewelery store. The guy chasing him tackled him just moments later in an alley and several Sacramento Police officers quickly had him under control. It's not often you find yourself just a few feet away from an incident like this, and just happen to have your camera in your hand.

What sort of moron robs a jewelery store during an event requiring cops on every corner?

You can't see her in this shot, but there's an absolutely gorgeous police canine barking up a storm in the back seat. It might have been fun to see her tackle the moron. The guy who tackled him is in the gray sweatshirt.
